Only I'm shorter than her (5'3") so the hem hits my lower calves. I think it would have fit nice if I bought a 3 so that tells me it probably fits true to size. As far as what top to wear with it, I did buy the white sweater and that gives the soft texture of the satin more softness and feminity. I also plan to wear it with a sweatshirt, tank top or t-shirt to give it the edgey with softness look.
